How did you get it out of park because the consul won’t come out because it’s in park and can’t get it out. There’s no room I took it apart like where you have it but like you said there’s no release valve button or whatever but you can use the pencil so I was wondering how you got yours out of park somebody said hit it with the rubber mallet

Hello, after remove the plastic part broken inside who stuck the shifter and reinstall all Now I have my parks sensors not working is it normal without this part or I forget to plug something ? I check two times …

Them cars don’t have a oil dip stick so all they do at the dealership is add oil to it and send them out the door and they think there oil and filter has been changed

you know I have a S430 2002 and I want it to the junkyard and got the gear shift which Mitch he matched the same one I have in my car and I was wondering my key don't work anymore and my s*** got my gear shift got stuck I had to to redo it but that one in in that 500 is fine not wrong with it so I'm going to use that but I'll take the the box of mine and put it on this one on the 500 so it'll work I guess that's all

I bet the oil changes at scheduled intervals was. Lot cheaper than removing valve covers, oil pan and all the flushes required to get rid of the sludge.

your explanation was semi correct The crankshaft position sensor measures the speed and position of the crankshaft as it rotates. The car’s computer then uses the sensor’s signal to decide when to fire the spark plugs, thus determining ignition timing.

I have a problem that you may be able to help me with so I'm having a similar problem however my car is not stuck in park it shifts freely through all of the gears my problem is is my transmission range sensor Within the floor shifter itself is bad! Will sending my unit I have now into Beckman Technologies to get it rebuilt will they be able to make my transmission range sensor work again so that I don't have to get a brand new unit and program it? I bought a used floor shifter but no one is willing to install it and reprogram it even though they have the proper star Diagnostics capability

You forgot to grease the front wheel bearings

Front rotars are fine but the pads are worn, dont be fooled by your mechanic and do your own work.

Why were the North American different from the European Spec ones ?

They should have used Mobil 1 Extended Life or Amsoil 20,000mil garantee! or maybe they should have read the owners manual where it says 15.000km oil service, it is a European Car.

Longer interval is not the cause of sludge. The wrong oil, and mix of different oils.

The oil change interval is what kills these Bluetec engines. I change mine every 5,000 on the clock.
